Chiba Sweet Potato from Japan!

Chiba??? Well. CHIBA Prefecture is one of the LARGEST sweet potato producers in Japan! Yes! Seriously, their sweet potatoes have richer and more sweet taste than other prefectures’ sweet potatoes because the excellent producers are very very particular on the production of the sweet potatoes. Such as about the soil and cultivation methods which resulting the best high quality sweet potatoes!

These are the representatives from Chiba Prefecture, Japan launching the promotional event in Malaysia! Wuhuw! Well, they made a special booth in front of Village Grocer to introduce the Chiba Sweet Potato by giving some samples, and also sell them freshly baked with a special machine.

Sweet Potato is a comfort food for beauty containing vitamins, potassium & dietary fiber! It also are easy to digest as well, since they mainly contain starch. They are soothing for the stomach and intestines, so you will avoid any difficulties of digesting them. 

Last but not least, sweet potato are naturally sweet-tasting. Nyums!

It’s organic but tastes like sweet desserts *mouth-watering*

Ha see? It's no surprise that sweet potatoes are at top of nearly everyone's healthiest foods list ^_^ Now! You can bake easy and delicious Sweet Potato at home! 

How to bake #ChibaSweetPotato? :

1. Wash a potato and wrap in aluminium foil.
2. Heat an oven at 200'C, and bake it at 40-50 minutes.
3. Stab a skewer into the potato. When it goes smoooothly it's ready to eat!

Sweet potatoes become super soft and moist when cooked, or baked, or steamed! Wait. Try them roasted, puréed, or grilled. Also, it tastes delicious too even when chilled in a refrigerator okay?! I mean. How versatile is that?????? Huhu.

 

Plus, if you're on a Calorie-Diet plan, this sweet potato is around 80-100 calories for medium size (approximately 100gram) So why not include this scrumptious sweet potato in your snacking option?!

He he he. I grabbed 2 packets for myself! The price range is from RM6-13 which is affordable! Well I guess the baked potatoes is just the right way to eat the tender, fluffy & sweetness of the potatoes. The edible skin would be crispy while the potato itself is plain nyummy! They’re warm, super tender and fluffy on any chilly evening, on their own!

Potatoes are the perfect dating partners. They’ll never reject you and if you’re not interested, you can just eat them. You can’t do that with most human partners. Trust me. So yeah. Happy sweet potato day everyone! It's my kind of potato day. Hahah! I love u Chiba Sweet Potatoes mainly because you was so soft and sweet! Lol. If you're a fan of sweet potatoes like me, this is really a treat! hihihih.
